Coatepec Singers
The Coatepec Singers, a group for amateur (in the best sense of the word) singers. If you're a woman and like to sing, you are welcome to come. We sing everything from Noel Coward to Gershwin to Beethoven to folk music. We meet once a week, on Tuesdays, at 3.00 p.m. at the home of Susan Mills in Coatepec. You don't have to read music to participate; it's enough if you can carry a tune and can follow along. And we enjoy tea after our rehearsals. For directions, please e-mailsusanm45406@gmail.com or telephone 129-9107 (not a cell phone).
I love this group. -- Esther

Located at: Milagros Para aTi 5 de Mayo #7 El Centro de Coatepec. Same place that the restaurant Hálagos is. Bring a book, take a book. There is a very nice selection of mysteries and thrillers--my drug of choice. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10-2 and 4-8 Sunday 2-6 Closed Wednesday Morning and all day Monday. You can bring a book to take a book. And of course you can bring a stack of books. In addition to mysteries and thrillers there are popular novels, classics and some non-fiction. The Exchange is also recycling plastic bags to make mattresses for kids. Bring your excess bags!
