Here at the edges of the famed Texas Hill Country just northwest of San Antonio people not necessarily accustomed to being activists are taking on, with what is now a realistic hope for success, Wal-Mart. In this community, the issues are similar to those elsewhere, with the addition of growing concern about effects on our area's still relatively pristine and only water source, the Edwards Aquifer.
