I can't help but agree with people who think that Obama is kind of acting like Bush-lite or Lyndon Johnson in Vietnam. He seems unable to understand that military intervention inflames, does not improve, many situations. How is this related to the Pentagon budget? To defense and weapons research contracts? To fear that not to fight would mean a lot of unemployed soldiers? He seems to be altogether too much just a member of the political gang.
