You folks up in the US just have to understand this is very different place from the US or from what you think it is. The norte has passed. This morning we woke up to glorious blue skies and sunshine. I could see my breath early, but hey, a little nip in the air on a day like today just makes it better.
Here is a picture of a dinner for representatives of the state department of transportation in Coatepec given at the height (or depths) of the norte. I'm posting it so you can see just how chilly it was (and what ummm non-warm expressions the people sharing the dais with Governor Herrera Beltrán wore on their faces. You'll notice the woman on the left has gloves on. The woman on the right seems to have put beauty before comfort. The governor, in case you can't tell, had a muffler wrapped around his neck.
